TPEG NavTest Now Available from GEWI

(Bernburg, Germany) GEWI, the world’s leading traffic information software provider announced today that the popular TIC product now is available as “TIC as a data service”. This will allow GEWI customers to be able to test their TPEG over HTTP enabled navigation devices. GEWI CEO Hagen Geppert commented “GEWI has a long history in providing testing for RDS-TMC navigation devices.

Now, this important data quality testing is available for TPEG as well”. Visitors to the 8th European Congress and Exhibition (6-9 June 2011) as well as the TISA Annual General Assembly (10 June 2011) both in Lyon, France, will be able to see how this is accomblished using the GEWI TIC product. With TIC, users will be able to manually create their own incident and flow data which will be automatically created into TPEG TEC and TPEG TFP messages. Users can also send TPEG over HTTP request over the Internet, then receiving TPEG responses via the Internet. And, all that is required to use these features is a Microsoft Internet Explorer brower.
