The ITS Canada Annual Conference and General Meeting will be held from 1-4 June in Victoria, British Columbia. GEWI is pleased to again be both attending as an exhibitor and presenting a paper on V2I: Bringing VMS to Your Dashboard. The Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) topic fits quite well with the conference theme “Connecting a Mobile World”.GEWI North America CEO Jim O’Neill will be delivering the presentation which describes how TIC can be used to collect Variable Message Sign (VMS) information and deliver that, and other, public agency data into vehicles.
The presentation will also serve as a sneak preview to the V2I live on-road demonstration from GEWI and BMW at the Technology Showcase this September in Detroit during the ITS World Congress.
