During the exhibition, Michael De Santis, Chair ITS Canada, Craig Hutton, Director General Policy Transport Canada Rob Shirra, Managing Director, ITS Canada visited the GEWI exhibit where Jim O’Neill briefed them on the latest developments of the TIC software product.
GEWI’s Connected Vehicle presentation described how TIC can be used to collect Variable Message Sign (VMS) information and deliver that, and other, public agency data into vehicles. This topic fit very well with the conference theme “Connecting a Mobile World”.
GEWI and BMW will provide a live on-road demonstration of the benefits of delivering VMS data into vehicles at the Technology Showcase this September at the ITS World Congress in Detroit, Michigan.
