TISA (Traveller Information Services Association) is a market-driven membership association with worldwide scope, established as a not for-profit company focussed on proactive implementation of traffic and travel information services and products based on existing standards, including primarily RDS-TMC and TPEG technologies. TISA also works towards the development of future standards and services.
ITS America (The Intelligent Transportation Society of America) was established in 1991 as a not-for-profit organization to foster the use of advanced technologies in surface transportation systems. ITS America members include private corporations, public agencies, and academic institutions involved in the research, development and design of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technologies to enhance safety, increase mobility, and sustain the environment.
ITS Canada (The Intelligent Transportation Society of Canada) is a professional non-profit society, with the inter-related goals of fostering ITS applications, promoting government-industry cooperation and strengthening the ITS industry. It is generally acknowledged as the most knowledgeable source for information and advice on intelligent transportation systems in Canada.
ITS Australia is an independant, not-for-profit incorporate membership organisation representing ITS Suplliers, Givernment Austhorities, acedemia and transport business and users. Affilitaed with key ITS organisations globally, ITS Australia is a major contributor to the development of the industry. Key activities include convening national summits and international conferences, facilitating dialogue between transport modes and across Government juridstictions, promoting research and development.
