GEWI attended and exhibited at one of Europe’s largest Intelligent Transportation (ITS) events, the 10th annual ITS European Congress and Exhibition, held in Helsinki Finland from 16-19 June 2014. GEWI demonstrating the newest features of the TIC Software Product, used for processing traffic data. GEWI also demonstrated the new cloud based TIC NavTest, which is used for Navigation Testing, at the TISA stand in the exhibit hall.Founded in 1992, GEWI has grown to provide a proven solution for traffic information worldwide over the past 22 years. GEWI’s history, evolution and product stability fit well with the theme of the 10th ITS European Congress is “ITS in your pocket – proven solutions driving user services”. Key topics of this year Congress will be sustainability, multimodality, innovation and focus on consumers.
Again this year the Congress provided a unique platform dedicated to the trends, achievements and opportunities in European markets. For GEWI, this was an excellent opportunity to capture product requirements from existing and prospective customers to ensure TIC functionality continues to meet the needs of the many traffic related markets for which TIC is used for worldwide.
