GEWI Business Workshop focuses on Smart Work Zone and UX

GBW 2018 Distillery TourEvery year GEWI staff from all over the world come together to review the year, discuss new product ideas, and plan the upcoming year. During the workshop held in Spreewald, Germany, much time was spent on improving Business Processes (BP), User Experience (UX), and new features to be used with the TIC for Work Zone Solution.

GEWI founder Hagen Geppert kicked off the workshop with a review of 2018 which saw 648 product changes to GEWI’s TIC Software product, and highlights from GEWI’s marketing, product development and customer project teams.

In addition to the daily workshops, everyone participated in events designed to focus on non-work activities including a tour of a local distillery and boat cruise on the Spree river.

In 2018, the company celebrated its 26th year in business and bonuses were awarded to employees with over 5 years employment with the company. This included employee #1, Holger Kuske who has been with GEWI for 25 years. Three employees have been with the company at least 20 years, 5 at least 15 years and 4 at least ten years. The average GEWI employee has been with the company for over 13 years.
