GEWI could be found at two exhibit areas during the 9th European Congress and Exhibition, held 4-7 June 2013 in Dublin, Ireland. GEWI displayed the latest TIC product features in both the ITS Germany and TISA stands at the Congress.
The theme of ITS Dublin 2013 was “Real Solutions for Real Needs” which is exactly what TIC has provided as a global solution to customer traffic and travel information project requirements since 1997.
The primary focus of the Dublin 2013 Congress was on proven deployed solutions and innovative R&D that solve real problems and deliver value for money in today’s challenging economic environment. As a commercial off-the-shelf solution (COTS), TIC’s capabilities reflected the theme very well as TIC has been used as a solution for collecting, harmonizing and distributing traffic data for over 15 years.
Today, TIC is used worldwide to power a wide range of Traffic Information Projects of all scopes and sizes. TIC can scale from small local projects, to international deployments such as exchanging traffic data between 22 countries in 7 different languages.
